portion of his Twilight Epiphany at Rice U If you don’t know Turrell he uses natural and artificial light to play with perception of space and color and his outdoor skyscapes are sick public observatories/installations that bring you into communication with the sky

On view at MoMA PS1. I went for the first time a few weeks ago and this piece stunned me. The simplicity! Genius. Makes you consider the world around you differently by altering it in the most subtle way - a frame. Could have sat watching the sky change all day. Sounds low lift, but I don’t think the impact can be fully explained without seeing it. It’s worth a visit.

The first installation of his I saw was The Weather Project at the Tate Modern's Turbine Hall in 2003 and to this day it is the most hauntingly, beautiful piece I've ever seen. His retrospective at MOCA is shaping up to be the exhibit of the year and his booth at Frieze is always the best one every year.

wowowow I watched this for the first time last night and loved it. I knew it was groundbreaking at the time, but what I didn’t expect was to see such a beautiful variety of landscapes and for it be have such romance. The choreography is insane and it was so refreshing to watch action that isnt cgi to the max.

No problem getting to work/important appointments on time but any leisure or social plans? Expect me to show up fashionably (some would say frustratingly) late.
