i personally find it easier to take 10 min the evening or night before when my mind is still on than having to try to think with an uncaffeinated brain and limited time in the morning. if i know i'll be on a time crunch in the morning, i put out my outfit down to socks and shoes, pack my bag, prep my coffee and breakfast as much as possible, and get out anything else i'll need to use in the morning. the more i can operate on autopilot in the morning, the better.

And I don’t mean success at work. I mean success in efficiently transiting to and from work for the betterment of your life outside of work. I have been getting ready for work like I would get ready for elementary school. Lunch prepped and packed, outfit pulled out the night before. I am acting like a woman in a commercial who needs to take her outfit from the office to a night out on the town πŸ’… but I have to prepare this way or my entire day falls apart and as soon as that happens the whole week does. A disaster!! So I will continue to make my overnight oats and lay out my clothes like a 4th grader and try to get a good nights sleep πŸ›Œ

you need to be both going to the gym and then relaxing for 15 mins minimum with coffee or tea before you leave, as well as picking an outfit for professionalism and smelling nice. you can also pack a lunch if you run that mile quick. three hours can accomplish this. *early bed time suggested, but not required in your twenties.

House tidy. Mug and cutlery out. Kettle filled. Breakfast made. Backpack packed. Outfit and jewelry stacked on the dresser. Water bottle filled. Life is set (at least this part)β€” so all you have to do is yawn on the couch in the sun and pet your cats head with your matcha and oatmeal and beautiful new day thoughtsβ™₯
