when i was a little kid playing chase, i tripped and fell on my knee on a manhole cover. it's the only thing that makes me think that i had a somewhat active childhood because most of my memories consist of me drawing or writing in safe and very still places. i tripped on that manhole a lot, actually, so what i really have is two scars, and both on the same knee! these are my only scars, i really should've avoided that little space of the sidewalk more.

to think that when i was a kid i was falling over, skinning my knees, getting scratches, and bruises EVERY DAY while running around... falling down was so normal i just got straight back up and didn't even think about it. my 26 year old decrepit ass fell down yesterday and i was in shock for hours after...

i have a scar on my knee from tripping on nothing and falling up a concrete staircase on campus. it didn’t even cut my knee, i just smashed it so hard that the skin broke. not even that long ago too my other most notable scars are on my ankle, and they happened because i lost my shoe in the ocean and swam out to get it, but as i was walking back, a huge wave came up and smashed me down and dragged me along the bottom (which was mostly comprised of sharp rocks and shells). it cut up my ankle and foot pretty badly, but i didn’t notice until i walked all the way back to shore and my cousins said ā€˜you’re bleeding’. i got my shoe back though

my favorite sentimental side quest to do whenever i’m strolling through central park. it’s not easy to express your love for someone in limited words, yet i’ve never seen a bench dedication that didn’t warm my heart. you can really feel the warmth and fondness the dedicaters have for the dedicatees. i saw this one on valentine’s day and it made me smile 🄹
