loopsie thank you… discipline and hyperfocus of steel and lots of espresso 🫡 and then I go to my regular job and sit and edit hundreds of more pages all day and now I’m doing market analysis presentations and meetings for that too LOL

carrots I have a side contract job that I do with eight-day deadlines for assignments (which I currently accept only on Fridays) and I do this literally every time and have been doing it for yearsssssss send HELP

The simultaneous suspense and euphoria of submitting something at 11:59PM with mere seconds to spare
i feel like i'm on masterchef putting the finishing touches on my plate right before the judges yell "times up!" exhilarating yet also terrifying 😬 can be done with your taxes, school assignments, contest submissions... the possibilities are endless! if you make it on time, congrats! if you don't, immediately blame your internet connection (denial)/make peace with your poor time management skills (acceptance).

Finals week or my final week??
But also if you know you won’t have the urgency to do it until day-of AND you know you’ll have the time to do it… idk man why waste multiple precious spring days when you could consolidate all that stress into one.

My dad teases me about how when I was a little kid, my favorite thing to do when I was on the landline phone with somebody—be it a relative or one of my best friends—was to breathlessly describe the things that were in my bedroom so that they could have a mental picture of everything I loved and chose to surround myself with, and where I sat at that moment in time. Perfectly Imperfect reminds me of that so thanks for always listening and for sharing with me too 💌
