šI like to listen to lofi-type background music layered with sounds-- my personal fave to do this on my work laptop is the Lofi Girl chrome extension! I like combining the storm, rain, and railroad ones especially.
If all else is failing, I find a place like a coffee shop or a public library where I feel just sliiiightly watched by the people around me because it helps me feel pressured to look productive lol

i work a physically intensive job, so setting aside time to center myself and tend to my mobility is very important to me. that said, a surprising amount of work goes into finding the perfect backing track for these quiet moments of remediation, and andrĆ© 3000ās ānew blue sunā has been a haven for me since its release.
the lead melodies on its opening track incentivize thoughtful, intentional breathing, and encourage reflection in ways simple guided meditations simply canāt measure up to. on more than one occasion, i may or may not have been moved to tears by its ethereal cascades of emotion :ā)
when the talking heads over at headspace just canāt cut it, three stacks comes through ^_^

šFor a lot of these like the driving/walking/train can ones I also like to play them in my field of view and keep my eyes trained on them while I work it really helps me lock inā¦
* Miracle Forest ASMR ambience
* Driving in rain
* Walking in the rain in Boston, MA with binaural rain on umbrella sounds
* Train cab ride videos (any of them)
* Sometimes if Iām having a really tough time focusing I will play this awful Muzak-core video in the Christmas season itās so flatly unenjoyable as music that it helps me shut off my brain and do what I need to do
