This is Kitty Her name was Alia at first But because I am a fool I called her Kitty too much and Kitty is who she has become. She is a sweet, but very shy cat. She is now three years old. She likes to sit by you, but not on you. If you get lucky, she might lay next to you while you sleep. Sometimes I try to share with her a piece of raw salmon or steak with her while I cook. But she never takes them. She much prefers carbs. She does not beg for human foods, except for carbs. She loves bagels, pastries, and toast. Don’t worry, I don’t give her too much. She weighs a perfect 9.5 pounds. For a while I thought Kitty didn’t love me that much because she was so shy and skittish. But now I see that Kitty loves me very much. She just shows it in less obvious ways. Like when she stares at me across the room, lying down with her eyes relaxed. Or when she playfully pounces at my legs when I walk by. Or how she lies beneath my desk while I work from home, purring softly. I love Kitty. Here is a photo of Kitty investigating a pickle.

My cat Bunny got out for the first time ever and she had me worried SICK. After walking up and down the block calling for her I put her litter box and my pillowcase in the open detached garage, left the side door cracked open, and was just sitting on the couch crying when suddenly I heard a little meow next to me 🥹 pictured: the heroine getting pets upon her return from her treacherous journey

I found her at a family gathering about 7-8 years ago. The previous lady who was taking care of her & a colony of feral cats moved away, leaving her without a consistent food source. She hung around me the whole day, soaking up the sun from a lawn chair while occasionally stealing some of my mac & cheese. That day I ended up taking her home, now she’s my whole world. Since then, i’ve started studying all things cat (especially feline behavior), working at animal shelters, occasionally fostering, & volunteering at other animal shelters + different pet retention services. She’s taught me so much & has given me the motivation to be better everyday. I don’t know what i’d do or be without her.

i'm not a particularly experienced or strong dancer, but i go because i have fun and it's the only way i can get myself to exercise so many people in these classes are so afraid of being perceived to the point where they're clearly not enjoying themselves anymore - as a social anxiety girlie i get it, it took me a while to beat this into my brain but you're in a class to learn!!! so what if someone is better than you. will you die? it's probably incredibly likely that someone will be much better. but they're not looking at you, they couldn't care less, embrace failure because it's fun and stupid and you're thinking about yourself too much. you're paying money to shiver in the corner? pop ur booty. goddamn it

if you live in a big city and you like live music/theatre there will always be stuff to go to that'll be the worst thing you've ever seen or the best, and it's fun to vibe on your own if your friends don't share your taste
