but just you have to accept it. i was in a similar situation and as much as i felt like a stranger in my own body, i slowly got used to it. hair can feel very personal, and it is! you’re not melodramtic. i got my hair cut on a friday (arguably the best day of the week) and had to go to work right after (arguably the worst thing to do after a bad haircut). fully had a good ole cry before a team meeting. embrace the change, welcome the new era, remember you’re a hottie no matter your hair (βŒ’β€ΏβŒ’)!!

i got violated at the barbershop and it has thrust me into a state of reflection. a lot of my mental has been anger and terror because my hair has been fucked up but otherwise this has given me the freedom to feel like i can finally change my hair from what i’ve had for years.

It's a new mindset, a reset, a new era, a new embodiment of who you are and expresses so many identities within yourself. Your heritage, your sexual orientation, what you've been through and where you are headed. Hair is meant to grow and change. As are you. No hair is nothing bad at all. Its' freeing. Rock that shit.
