This man does not miss. His movies are reliably and consistently high-quality stuff. His range is impressive - from sci-fi, horror, romance, period drama…he kills it all the time. Brilliant, brilliant.
Some recency bias here but "Peaky Blinders" was the gateway drug and "Oppenheimer" just confirmed the trendline (his turn as Scarecrow in the Dark Knight Trilogy feels slept on to me). I can't wait to see what's next. We Irish gotta stick together.
I knew nothing about the workers movement when I first saw this documentary. But I felt an anger toward corporate power and exploitation suffered by the miners.
