listen to the radio of certain songs or bands you listen to often! i find a new song i am obsessed with almost every day. daylists are a hit or miss same with discover weekly, but you could also give those a try!

really love spotify daylists, although its usually js a mix of music i already listen to sometimes i strike lucky and get recommended new finds which i love... plus the names are always absurd hahah

I know the Spotify algorithm is a mind-reading serpent, but I also know that it knows me better than most of my family members. Every time I explore the “song radio” of a song I love on Spotify, I learn so much. This is also a great way to explore genres as a DJ, while the rabid hunger of New Yorkers ready to dance gets more fervent by the day.

i became obsessed with buying vhs lots on ebay about two years ago, specifically horror movies from the 80’s / 90’s. there is just something about watching that era and genre of film on a shitty tv with that scratchy staticky sound. also a fun way to watch things you would never hear about or think to watch. very inexpensive as well (at least in my case)
