I usually like to wash my absolute favorite articles of clothing by hand. It keeps them looking newer longer and helps me feel more connected to them. It's also some meditative down time.

cabaretbaby pit stains are usually removable! Soaking in Oxiclean and a bit of white vinegar or lemon juice usually does the trick.

and not doing wash n’ fold. (In the case that both are in your price range!)
It’s such a therapeutic hands-on task, only takes about an hour, and is good people watching.
