this book permanently changed the way i view the world. it’s a book that combines the indigenous viewpoint with a more scientific one as the author is a Potawatomi botanist. it is such a beautifully written and insightful book that i’m sure you’ll enjoy even if you aren’t into all that nature/biology stuff (although that would help). 100/10 would absolutely recommend

Robin Wall Kimmerer is my hero. This book is so deeply nourishing and empowering. We need more wisdom like this in our lives. Once you finish this, read “The Serviceberry.”

one of the best concept albums of all time. follows a young woman named Ethel Cain (the character, not the artist) as she encounters various men and eventually meets her violent death at the hands of one of the men. truly visceral and even disturbing at some parts but so so good, really recommend giving it a listen
