ive been making overnight oats before work and for the first time I’m getting up, on time, and surviving the bad days at work bc I have the brain energy. Making breakfast is such a chore but fr this has saved me.

I’ve historically struggled with getting anywhere on time because it’s hard to get up in the morning, but I’ve recently made the effort to get to work around 30 min before everyone — and while this may not be great for work/life balance — it does set up the day nicely.
Feels good to have a little calm before the storm so to speak. Plus it’s a way for me to justify getting coffee on the way in most days

one of the best motivators for me to wake up earlier is leaving time to make breakfast before heading out. especially on weekends, I love playing some music, lighting some incense, and going hard on a breakfast sando

usually i don’t have to b at work til noon and so i’d sleep until like 10 or 10:30. which made me feel like shit. now ive been hitting a nice 8:30 and working out or going for a walk or exploring before work and i feel sooo much better

Ik most ppl say they’re snobs, which may be true, but I feel like they’re usually just resting bitch face introverts who only hang around ppl they know bc they are too awkward/scared to talk To strangers

I used to see first dates as something embarrassing and a bit of a chore but now I look at them as meeting a new person and connecting. Even if it doesn’t go the way I want it to, I’ve at least gotten to know someone, had a laugh and went somewhere fun because of it. I actually enjoy first dates now bc it’s a new connection.
