SPRING PASTELS

a woman from florida came into my job today and remarked on the landscape saying “wow! being in virginia i finally understand where spring pastels come from!” pink cherries and peaches, fuchsia redbuds, yellow forsythia, lavender wisteria, and every fresh shade of green in between.

Spring

I got back to my apartment last night after an unexpected 2 week hiatus - and I woke up this am to find out that this purple tree is outside of my bedroom window 🥹🥹🥹I didn’t live here last spring, and I had no idea she was going to bloom. I recommend this season to everyone (this is only my 6th? year living somewhere where 4 seasons happen.)
