Gin paper plane is my favorite cocktail!
It’s perfect for many reasons:
1. Delicious
2. Common ingredients so you can almost always get it at a bar
3. everything is a 1 to 1 ratio so it’s easy to make at home and also batch
in fact, picture is from me experimenting to make a batch w/ mezcal and amaro camatti bc that’s what I have in the house! Classic recipe is:
¾ ounce bourbon
¾ ounce Aperol
¾ ounce Amaro Nonino
¾ ounce lemon juice
Shaken and strained
If you also felt like you're supposed to be into Talking Heads but never found your way there on your own, this is the way.
Went to the cinema to see the newly released A24 remaster, just a delightful time.
Bill Murray is so good at being annoying and Richard Dreyfuss is equally good (maybe even better?) at being annoyed. I still think about this movie regularly.
