chlonline You’re not wrong! My only gripe is that so many other brands are doing exciting / better things for about the same price, so it’s like if you spend a little time looking at what else is out there you might find something you like even more. I swear by my 3Sixteen mules that are virtually identical to a pair of Boston’s, but I like that they’re hand made + can be resoled + support a smaller brand, and that was worth the extra $70 to me. I also love another pair I have that was like $50 total hahaha. I just think it’s worth exploring other options as to find something that truly speaks to you rather than just getting a pair that everyone has ‘just because it works.‘ There’s nothing wrong with that! But it’s fun to branch out and experience other brands and designs if you can. (My relationship with clothing is almost spiritual, I apologize for the dramatics)
