🚗normally i hate obnoxious people who play really loud music and have their windows down and shake the entire neighborhood when it’s complete silence. i do live on long island tho, so complete silence happens once in a blue corn moon
however today i was driving and Me and You by Werner (last name is too long to remember) came on my drive. i thought it to be funny to just blast it as i drove my merry way along and i felt so much internal joy from the absurdity that was that experience
i thought it was over for the day until later, The Rake Hornpipe came on. these are all my liked songs by the way, they didn’t just show up. and yes these are liked songs of mine in spotify. no i don’t know why. i was able to do it for a little bit, as the song is really short but memorable. it’s a joy to be dumb sometimes

one of the best concept albums of all time. follows a young woman named Ethel Cain (the character, not the artist) as she encounters various men and eventually meets her violent death at the hands of one of the men. truly visceral and even disturbing at some parts but so so good, really recommend giving it a listen
