Nothing creates more controversy (other than skinny jeans) among men. Yet the comfort attained when collaborating these is hard to beat. Why does the marriage of the humble sock & sandal create so much hate? More importantly… Who were the first to discover this match made in heaven? The Japanese? The Germans? British holiday makers in Benidorm?
I say free the sock & sandal. Let your toes feel secure within the confines of your cotton foot mittens and may your sole rest in peace.

Shadowbeni Great image. Birkenstocks are a cheat code, the only form of socks & sandals adopted by the mainstream I reckon. When I say socks and sandals I mean dad-esque, velcro straps with ankle support.

freddie o yes, love a Teva. a chunky smartwool sock and chacos are my camping go-to. Haven’t made the leap to civilization yet
