tiff honestly my main advice is figure out as you go along. That might sound obvious but i used to be like ok I’m gonna read this whole gardening book and try to learn about everything and do it perfect, and it just doesn’t work! So instead I’d be like ok I have this but I need to fill, or I want to do this, or I like this plant. And then I’d do a lil google about that specific thing. For example i was like ok I want a mini freestanding pond, how do I do that? And found loads of blogs online, and then when it came to choosing the right plants for it I asked the guy at the garden centre! i also use an app on my phone to identify plants and make sure I look up the gardeners world care tips for every plant I buy. the knowledge all sort of accumulates after a while! If theres anything specific youre wanting to do then lmk and I might be able to help!
Putting your fingers in the dirt produces serotonin, and eating things I grow myself makes me feel less guilty about my carbon footprint. it’s exercise, meditation, prayer and therapy all in one.
