WDTY: we don’t trust you, young metro, type shit, like that, runnin outta time, seen it all, where my twin @ WSDTY: drink & dance, nights like this, right 4 you, beat it WSDTY CD2: nobody knows my struggle, all my life i like these 2 records a lot this is the best future sounded in years. i fell in love with southern rap in that 2014-2016 pocket so i‘ll probably always love future & young thug, they were just doing things in that period that were genuinely new & unprecedented. metro was a big part of that too

Ok I only have two of these: 2 milli by Soulja Boy and #TwitterSong by Young Thug, released in 2010 and 2011 respectively. Twitter may be dying, run by the lamest man to breath, but we’ll always have these gems to remind us of the glory days. The production on both just sounds like the 2010s internet too. A credit to the instincts of these 2 visionaries
