im in an insane knitting society gc and they text there all the time about how they’re making full on dresses and shit like every day…. i thought this was a casual activity…. im taking this as a sign to finally exit the gc

mouse it’s a looooong story haha but I was part of this group for a long time and the whole group is formed around this girl who is a knitting influencer and tbh she is nice enough and it is a lovely group of girls and nb crafters but it’s also this influencer‘s small business ? I’m basically joining a new group that doesn’t cost as much to be a part of and is not centred around a system of making someone else money because I had a bad experience with the organiser last week when she refused to offer me a refund for a ticket when my circumstances were absolutely dire - it just clicked for me that this person does not care whether I live or die but will happily pocket my cash 😭

CRaft circles

my public library has a monthly fiber arts craft circle that i’ve gotten to host a few times and it’s always a great time, sometimes you mostly sit in comfortable silence and sometimes it’s pretty social but i love getting to see what other people are working on and get inspiration for my own craft projects.
