I normally don’t like thrillers but oh my god I was SAT for this book. It had good pacing and i think bc I’m not used to the genre I i was surprised by every twist and turn. check CW before reading the crimes in the book are heavy

Murder mysteries
I’m also trying to get back into reading and I’ve found a classic murder mystery is great. They tend to be on the short side and they’re exciting, so I end up reading for hours like I did as a kid. Plus they’re pretty abundant. I like Agatha Christie, or if you’re looking for something a bit longer, Anthony Horowitz’s Magpie Murders is really good too!
