Iโ€™m so down with what taterhole said about women downplaying their own skills. I see men seem to have more conscientiousness in this test in general, and i imagine itโ€™s because theyโ€™re more likely to self-report efficiency.

mouse YES!! Iโ€™ve been noticing really high neuroticism in women too which I think can correlate with uncertainty and anxiety at being perceived

mouse i see your point and i agree with it completely but in my case, i really approach most of my responsibilities with an eagerness of a reluctant stray cat (i am, too, strongly food motivated) and if not for my job being completely remote, which allows me to cultivate high levels of whimsy every day, i would probably live either in my parents basement or be hitchhiking to oregon by now. the part about being precieved and how it may link to women showing higher levels of neuroticism is very real and sort of eye opening for me so thanks for the insigh!

going to the cinema alone
seeing a movie on a huge screen (as most directors intended it to be seen) and just indulging in approximately 2 hours of pure uninterrupted escapism without anyone to worry about (plus supporting your local cinema at the same time). works best with "slow" films where the scenes linger. total bliss.

the less skincare the better
i don't know who needs to hear this (me. i need to hear this. i wrote this rec for me.) but late-stage capitalism influencers reaaaally want you to believe you need to have this whole grand 15-step skincare routine with all the little gadgets and gizmos or you are doing something fundamentally wrong. hear me out here - you are fine. the only thing they are contributing to is the ever-growing need to consume and the systematic destruction of your skin barrier. as long as you wash your face regularly and put on some sunscreen every morning, the rest is mostly just for the vibes.
