Madame Web was an instant classic. I reject the premise that you can like things “ironically” and I embrace the love of Madame Web into my heart. It was simple, numbing and enjoyable in a way that combined the sloppy bullshit of 00s superhero movies with giallo style bad dubbing and incoherent narrative. It lends itself to many generous queer theory interpretations and interpretations of post 9/11 surveillance culture.

Madame Web is actually nowhere near as bad as people say (at least it’s not bad in a boring way). If you enjoy: - cpr - Sydney Sweeney performances (same vocal intonation, same blank doe eyed stare) - endearingly awkward and clunky Dakota Johnson performances - a heartfelt if not a little cliche story about women (and girls) finding support and community amongst each other - cool sunglasses - bugs (spiders) Go see Madame Web. And if possible see it in 4dx. It’s a fun story, it’s not boring and I think any ‘flaws’ make it more fun. Her web connects them all.

i feel like im seeing a lot of people hate this movie. HOWEVER im going to be controversial and say i loved it. who cares if the little to no plot barely makes sense. who care if its basically a fanfic with a huge budget. lets allow these erotic odd movies to be viewed, even if its just for the sake of being viewed and not for substance.

Every time somebody tells me about a usernameable platform I jet to it ASAP to try and get the madden handle. Difficult to contend with the NFL but I’ve had some big scores.

if you hate your roommate why not decide to think of your bedroom as a nice little place to improve like your own little oasis rather than lament the discomfort you feel in your own home? if anyone has tips let me know because I’m really in a theory rather than practice stage.

The piano opening to Court and Spark by Joni Mitchell changed my life. It’s the first time I remember experiencing sound and the first memory I have of my childhood. I was 2 years old and sitting in a car seat in my mom’s Volkswagen Passat.
