crunchy, soft, and so hearty they knock you out for the rest of the day. after living in parts of the country where these subs are hard to find, they always feel like a treat now.

one arm parm

I used to go to this deli near my old office (pre-covid) that had the best chicken parm sandwiches. I called it "One Arm Parm" because the guy who hands you your sandwich only had one arm. I was struggling to remember the name and address of the spot and to my surprise I guess other people refer to this spot w the same fucked up nickname because if you google "one arm parm" it shows up! anyway its rly good, check it out. lol

Super cute and earnest new zine out from Amsterdam about plants and gardening. Whole issue here about artichokes with art, history, and notes on how to grow it. I am an avid gardener and have some cool vintage gardening texts; super stoked this exists to add to the collection. Hopefully getting the issue on compost next time I'm over in NL
