Minority decision: I used to have an Amazon squire and it was one of my least favorite guitars I have ever played. For a little more u can get a used lower end strat and for the same price you can just get a random funny used guitar from fb marketplace. Maybe this is going to immediately invalidate my point, but I also never got that squire set up properly hahaha so maybe that’s a factor

Fender jazzmasters
my Something Wild DVD and cluttered pedalboard aside, this Squier Jazzmaster is my baby, incredibly versatile, remarkably light, and an incredibly sharp tone! as an alternative to strats and LPs, it’s my favorite guitar, tempted to give it a Mustang racing strip with electrical tape

The SHOPS @ Columbus circle
Specifically the downstairs Lincoln Center Whole Foods, with its windowless cafeteria. My favorite place for my thirty minute lunch break. A midtown third space oasis.
You’ve got it all—your tour groups, your business men, Bad Roman, bad public art. A place I’m strangely nostalgic for, as it was one of the first places I visited on my first trip to New York (in 2015, on a high school band field trip).
One day I may have to write a Benjaminian Arcades Project-esque ode to this particular commercial complex.

Saw this at Nitehawk Prospect Park and met the two little girls who sing in the opening, now in their sixties, who told us about eating cheeseburgers on set in a warehouse somewhere downtown
