What is considered flavoured teas (like apple, rose etc.) on the market are tisanes, and super delicious, but if I had to drink one kind, it would be Assam or Darjeeling Tea, because I grew up on the kind of tea that was brewed to an inch of its' life, so bitter af green tea or black tea that leaves you addicted, is the way I go.

My family has always liked the Ahmad black tea. You can buy them at arabic delis or sometimes eastern european ones. My mom dries black currant leaves or mint leaves to add to it as well, but in a pinch the Ahmad black currant tea smells incredible (i buy this as birthday presents because it normally comes in a small box) Pro Tip: It tastes so good brewed in a teapot as opposed to by the cup (6 teaspoons for a medium sized teapot)

Especially from Mariage Frères. I love Marco Polo, Vanille des Îles and Darjeeling Rose Camélia

Sometimes you try your best and everything seems to hit the fan no matter how much you try, so you take that raincheck and take yourself out for a day.

This is what I call it hahahah made by mums everywhere but the greased up version is sold along stalls in Mumbai. Two regular slices of white bread, buttered, and the middle filling is cream cheese with red onions, coriander/cilantro, tomatoes and some minced chillis. All veggies chopped mini cube size so they blend with the cheese. Toasted crispy.
