Did you know that using industrial soap over long periods of time (say, in the workplace) can actually give you acute dermatitis? My hands looked a hundred years old until I started using this stuff. Weleda is a revered Swiss skin care company that has been in busimess for like over a 100 years or something? And the product is at least mostly natural, if not all. I don’t fact check, deal with it. The important thing is that I am now not embarrassed by my hands which is nice bc I’m super vain. Sub-rec: bring your own hand soap to work and hide it in the bathroom!

I started carrying a lil bottle in my backpack a few months ago and now I don’t know how I survived without it! I live in a van and use public restrooms every day, so being able to wash up and not worry about soap smell roulette has been amazing! I’m so sensitive to smells and I HATE having random smells stuck on me. It’s also great for those times when a restroom is out of soap. Thank you Dr. Bronner!

Anyway they’re going to replace it soon with Ayeya soap which is a sister brand to Alaffia. The Alaffia soap was zero waste and you could buy it from the bulk section so I assume the Ayeya will be the same. The bulk Pacha soap they sell at WF is also good. I’m sure you could get soap from any local handmade soapmaker and it would go crazy…
If you’re going to be in the Midwest any time in the near future I really enjoy Fresh Thyme’s organic lemongrass charcoal bulk bar soap!

Red Scare bc I feel smarter when I listen, and Ride bc I want to be a bimbo too. Both are hilarious but in different ways. Totally enjoyable listening if you don’t take really anything too seriously. 10/10/10.
