I finally read this Yorgos please don’t ruin it for me. Then again this book taught me not to care so much about stuff that doesn’t concern me and how to shut off from things that do.

I bought a book that caught my eye from a bookstore in Boston either as a high schooler or college student. As a busy, unmotivated ex-reader, I could barely get past the first 10 pages. For at least four years but probably more, I’ve picked up and read the first few pages a few times. It’s come with me to every apartment and most vacations. I read some books for pleasure last year, the first since middle school, and felt like a baddie. Then I started a meh book and fell off the reading train. I brought this new book on a trip this weekend and started it over yesterday. It is so good. I just finished it. I knew it was worth taking everywhere. Am very proud of myself :,)

I finished a book for the first time in a year yesterday. It was “my year of rest & relaxation”. Immediately after finishing it, I picked up another book & read 40 pages in a night. Will likely finish that book before the week is through. This will continue.

I love being in a situation where you would ask that question. It could be because you spent that night over at your aunt’s at Christmas or because your spending a weekend away crammed in an airbnb with your friends, the fact is waking up communally and asking about the quality of everyone’s sleep is special.

I could watch panel shows on YouTube for hours. And do, I fear.

What is a bad night? What is a good life? What is coincidence? What is fate? I didn’t know Scorsese could do Kafkaeske and I liked the drawing of the shark in the bathroom.
