Hearing those light, delicate chimes among a gentle breeze instantly transports me to a moment of peace.
I’ve had this same set for my entire life - my aunt got it as a gift for me when I was born and they hung outside my bedroom window growing up. Right now they’re hanging outside my back door. My day always gets a little better whenever I hear them.

They remind me of dream catchers, and I would like one of each.

Chords on a guitar, greeted by the flowing winds through the open window. Overlooking the horizon of the lake, humming as you play on.
It’s just you and the greens. Surrounded by the colours of Earth, to the extent in which your eyes can see.
Forgetting the tiredness, breathing in a slow, fresh pace of air. Intake the mixture of different smells, the aroma of the world. No toxicity, pure natural.
Turn your light on, it’s time to wake up.

These are those unplanned, worn-in trails that come into existence from consistent use over time. I like how they represent a record of the way humans and animals interact with their environment, with some being wide and well travelled while others are overgrown and don’t see that much use; each one has a story! I think they’re a cool example of the ways in which we unintentionally shape nature while it shapes us right back. So take that desire path and push back against infrastructure imposed upon you (if you want).
I also just think Desire Path is a beautiful combination of words.
