nobody is doing it right, the only right way to do athleisure is to do something else instead.
my lululemon pants are my least comfortable pants because, despite being able to stretch, they're so god damn tight that they *need* to stretch. If pants fit moderately well, they don't need to stretch.
so lululemon introduced relaxed fits. but they kept using stretchy fabrics, because that's all they know how to do. but stretchy fabrics don't drape well, and they don't age well. relaxed fits are all about showing off how fabric drapes and ages. Those lulu pants are stiff and weird until the elastene decays and then they'll sag in a way that's just sad.
