If you have Birkenstocks or a similar kind of sandal/shoe with cork material in the sole, this will extend the life of your shoes DRAMATICALLY. You can buy cork sealant at a shoe store, hardware store, or online for around $5. Whether your sandals are brand new or a decade old β like mine β this will breathe extra life into them with not a lot of money or effort.
As an added bonus, painting on the sealant is a very calming summer activity.

if the occasion permits. the older i get, the more comfort becomes a priority for me. i've sworn off buying lifestyle shoes, at least for the time being. if it's not made for all-day comfort, then i don't want it. maybe i'll be rocking a pair of sambas in a year from now, but right now, running shoes are my best friend.

They are kind of ridiculous. The epitome of a small dog. If you were to tell a child to draw a dog the drawing would most likely look like a tiny dachshund. They look better in your arm than most handbags. Nobody is afraid of them. You canβt really take them serious - which is an ideal to recommended to any Homo Sapiens. Yet they have a lot of character and are smarter than the turd who wants to become president again. And they get quiet old without going to Equinox or using nutrition supplement or detox and all that shit.
