Saw at film forum for first time a few years ago. I like waiting to see classics at the repertory theaters. Makes it feel exciting and def worth the cost.

My favorite spot to go catch a movie, they have retrospectives of the best directors and have an overall wonderfully curated selection of films. Itโs run as a film archive as a non-profit, and consists of one very minimal screening room and a small cafe adjacent to it. Just hearing the way my shoes click on the white marble floor will already make me giddy โ Iโm so glad it reopened. Just before the pandemic caught one of my all time favorite movies, Felliniโs Juliet of the Spirits there, on original restored film.

Multiple reasons to visit NGA, but the free screenings are among the top for me. Thought provoking programming that is usually tied in some way to ongoing exhibitions. I donโt watch trailers so I love to go in there without any expectations. Shout out to the lush red velvet seating - so cozy.
