dirty martini but with pickle juice from a jar (dill) instead of olive juice. polish her off with a couple cornichons and you're cookin with gas!!! once the taste of this nectar of the gods hits your lips u will never look at a traditional dirty martini the same again
i make them with so much pickle juice and olive juice until they could potentially be confused with a salad dressing - a crush of pepper, a few drops of olive oil, im in heaven and life is so good
extra dry, extra dirty. I'm talking 3 oz gin, about 3/4 oz olive brine, splash of vermouth. Garish with two garlic-stuffed, or blue cheese-stuffed, or feta-stuffed (if you're feeling extra fun) olives and enjoy.
iconic strip club in los feliz/east hollywood (actually it's a bikini bar which means it's more burlesque and they're allowed to serve alcohol). it's small and divey and the dancers pick their own music from a jukebox. courtney love used to dance there!!! i went with some friends a couple sundays ago and it was one of my favorite nights in la. one of the dancers was doing magic tricks and another climbed to the top of the pole and hung like a crucifix while dressed as a bunny (it was easter sunday) if you like dancing or good music or just fun in gen this rec is for you!!!
