The film that kick started the cannibal pop-culture craze. A perfect horror film. Also shout out to Brand New Cherry Flavour, the unhinged Netflix body horror magical realism show that I never see anyone talk about. Itâs mad and I loved it.
Julia Ducournau really making some freak ass little movies! I went into this one blind when it came out and there are scenes that still stick with me, incredible performances, premise, setting, vibe. A really viscerally full movie with lots to um, chew on. Wonât be watching again.
