I would have put The Brutalist or Conclave on this list had I not just watched A Real Pain by Jesse Eisenberg. Incredibly poignant and touching portrayal of loss and how pain is reverberated throughout time. Kieran Culkin had me sobbing like a puppy.
I rate it: 5 bags of popcorn and a copy of Holy Rollers.

I’m not a Beyoncé stan at all but her new country album is maybe album of the year… it’s kinda like a movie soundtrack or something. Very into it. feels like genuine expression even the 27 songs don’t feel too much. Very cool. if this doesn’t win the Grammy then idk
