been doing these for a while, it's a very solid full body dynamic stretch (hip mobility, ankles, shoulders etc.) - just take your time with it because they can be a lil tricky to understand the movement at first
also if you can't do the full lunge at first because you lack ankle and hip mobility OR want to focus more on the upper body portion, start in a crawling position
nothing makes me feel older than tight hip flexors, creaky knees, and an achy lower back. I usually do a flow of "threading the kneedle," cat cows, downward dogs, hip switches, and end with child's pose
Don’t be a dick about it but we all are walking around with tight hips and hammies: Loosen ‘em up! Roll them shoulders! Let that forward fold fly free!
