the Beaver

They’re fascinating. They‘re brilliant engineers, they swim, they slap the water with their tails to warn other beavers, they have their own waterproofing oils, they can hold their breath underwater for 15 minutes, their dens are cool, they are monogamous which I think is cute. Either beavers or owls. Or those monkeys that chill in the hot springs in Japan.

cool: mostly birds (cockatoos, zebra finches, kookaburras, emus, cassowaries), monotremes, marsupials like kangaroo joeys, aspects of bogan culture scary (to me): bugs, spiders, snakes, massive reptiles, super ripped and tall kangaroos, southern hemisphere

to take to work for breakfast and lunch. Feel good, mind body and soul 🧘‍♀️ This one featuring veggie burger salad with morning star black bean burgers and a homemade cilantro chipotle lime dressing. For breakfast we always have parfaits and overnight oats on rotation!
