she sings about anger, gender, physical and emotional pain, love and care, plumbing the depths of sadness and sweetness. the production is so layered and gorgeous
(itโs also famously supposed to be the post-rpattz breakup album and I think having that narrative of how scrutinized and criticized she was during and after that relationship deepens my understanding of it, but doesnโt limit it)
