i realize i haven't been spending my time exactly how i want. soooo without dwelling too much or beating myself up (why. pay. twice.) i'm making some changes. bye instagram on the phone, hello duolingo, bye unfulfilling social engagements, hello nurturing new and old relationships that feel truly good, hello reading, hello feeling better already! hello again pi.fyi community with your good taste and kind hearts!

i've noticed i haven't really cared for my current lifestyle - there are much more enriching things i could be a part of, and today is the day i start. listed below are the ways i'm starting fresh, and i think they could possibly be beneficial to others :)
to-do: -change your wallpaper (phone & laptop) -change your desktop favorites -create a solid morning routine -cut your hair -go clean shaven (if you've kept your goatee for years) -paint your nails -delete old playlists you've been meaning to and make new ones! -expand your discography -go to bed at a decent hour! (this is so hard for me)
i'm new here to PI.FYI and i absolutely love it, can't wait to start fresh and include y'all in my routine >:)

my roommate and I were making a list earlier of movies we wanted to watch, which made me think of how many books and video games and albums I have on my lists that I just haven’t gotten around to. (let alone my hobbies like learning guitar or studying languages or doing creative stuff!!!) which also made me realize.. if I put off things that I WANT to do, what have I been doing with my time then??? Scrolling social media??? I’ve lost so much time endlessly scrolling my phone, and I think it’s time I get around to all of those pieces of art and hobbies and experiences I’ve been putting off. And, on that note… I should go to sleep so I can enjoy tomorrow instead of feeling tired and unmotivated. Goodnight PI, I hope you all listen to some good music tomorrow. Xoxo Isaac

The last few months have been hectic in all sorts of ways, and I’ve definitely lost track in my New Year’s resolutions that I promised myself to keep at due to my poor mental health. Instead of getting further down in the dumps about it, I’ve decided to make sure that I’m spending my days off doing things that make me happy so that I feel motivated to get back on track again. Indulging in my hobbies, visiting with friends, cooking delicious meals… All that stuff that’s good for the soul is what I’m focusing on right now. The past few months have sucked, but that doesn’t mean the rest of the year has to!
