Especially when you consider how stoned Paul had to be to write something like Well, the rain exploded with a mighty crash As we fell into the sun And the first one said to the second one there "I hope you're having fun" (I had always interpreted this as something of a commentary on the breakup of the Beatles but could be off about that)
