honestly a lot of this album is actually very good in retrospect. it has its duds, but the core tracks are kind of a perfect representation of this era of pop music. this song in particular is such a solid pop tune and checks every box of this pop hook/rap verse format that was huge in the 2000s/2010s. I Gotta Feeling is the most overplayed song of the 21st century but also you gotta love it as the inevitable wedding/prom/bar mitzvah song.
