Wait, there's a way to see peoples' top recs? Or just the ones at the top of their page?

chlonline Gotcha! I wonder if a top 5 would be a good feature request or if that's breaching the egalitarian nature of things here

Idk, I just follow whatever I’m interested in, and have been smashing that button for many years with very little concern for if I’ll get a follow back. It’s mostly meme and food pages.

I seem to have found some cool people and gotten a diverse variety of recs this way!

i see really cool/ funny/ smart people and 90% of the time they just follow me back straight away. it’s one of the joys of not having a big following — you can make more friends with strangers! i think the art of that is lost with influencer culture, because why would you follow a ‘fan’ back straight away (particularly when you have 50k plus of them?) also i’m a ‘rising user’ after posting like 6 times which gives me a huge ego boost. Small App is IN 🙌🙌

If you’re within an hour walk from home, you should just walk home. I understand taking public transit or an Uber there to be on time, but you’re not rushing to get home. Thus, walk.
be out with the old and in with the new!! you do not need to follow someone you met once 7-10 years ago.
