i lived in the mission for a year and sometimes i forget that! Ty for reminding me. - taking a stroll at crissy fields. preferably on a sunny day. the view of the bay and bridge is awesome and really sells the im in san francisco - if you want to splurge on eats please go to Zuni Cafe! Itā€™s classy California chic. order a martini and a pile of french fries if youā€™re not up for a full meal - for a fun drink thereā€™s true laurel and any drink pairs with their patty melt (would also recommend just the patty meltšŸ¤“) - my old dive haunt was the 500 club + they have a photo booth - garden creamery has a rotational / seasonal ice cream menu thatā€™s always yummy. grab a scoop and walk to doloresĀ park - the tea leaf salad!! at Burma Superstar - catch a movie at the Roxie they have awesome programming - donā€™t be afraid to walk up some hills. some random neighborhoods can have epic views i hope you have a great tripĀ šŸ«¶

i love that our seemingly high-tech phones still cannot do the job of capturing the moonā€˜s ethereal essence. itā€™s so humbling and vulnerable to attempt to take a photo of her and have it come out all ugly and orb-like. itā€™s literally none of ur business to see what she looks like anytime apart from the present moment! (and please donā€™t tell me if samsung or google pixel have invented technology to do a better job of this. it wouldnā€™t sit right with meā€¦ like trying to sneakily undress a woman without her consent when she has explicitly stated sheā€™d rather remain demurely clothed and mysterious)
