Pocket Dispo

camera technology has pretty much peaked, so it is fun to see folks start to make different lenses that deliberately make the image quality worse. pocket dispo is a 3D printed pancake lens that mimics the lens of a disposable camera, making all your shots look a bit fuzzier and a little more saturated than your typical camera lens. this thing is 50 bucks and makes taking photos infinitely more fun. took this photo of my dog and it looks like it is 1995.

Camp snap camera

Satisfaction of a film camera without paying for film. its a digital camera but doesn’t have a screen so you have to wait to upload pics to a computer to see your work. The right kind of gimmicky

digital camera

got a $40 digital camera bc i kept running out of storage on my phone. it is so fun and the quality isn't perfect, but it is nostalgic and dreamy, and shoots well in bright light. at some point having every function in one device became, somehow, addictive AND boring. more dedicated media devices in 2025!
