You want to experience joy and wonder all over again while you speedrun a museum? Find a willing child (I used a nephew) and take them to a museum. Be prepared to look at everything for about 6 seconds before you move on to the next thing.

๐งฉi'm actually not sure if this is the right verbiage for this kind of thing, i think they're more colloquially referred to as like children's museums?? but yeah like stupid levels of fun. kinda like an escape room without the stress. and a lot of them aren't solely geared towards kids, like (i'm not sure where you're located but) places like exploratorium in san fran and city museum in st. louis are fun for everybody. also some of them definitely require dexterity and energy if they involve climbing/crawling. would highly recommend. happy early birthday!!

I work on a college campus where we have this statue of a rat with giant balls and it has become a regular phenomenon for students/people to offer their vapes to the ball rat. It is both so silly and so beautiful to me.
