Sometimes, silence is too little and „normal“ music is too much, with lyrics especially. I usually use electronic sounds as the middle but yo classic music is the shiitttt i’m telling u!!! also shoutout to my mom for exposing me to this as an infant 💗

listening to your parents’ music
for the longest time i’d been avoiding the music my parents like bc they’re my parents they can’t be Cool or Tasteful so i had avoided fiona apple, the smiths, the cure, descendents, the cranberries, many other 80s 90s indie favs & more. & im finally realizing that hey my parents are real people too & it brings a whole nother level of appreciation for them and for music and for Life
