Seeing cleaning as hygiene

Just like brushing your teeth or showering or washing your hair it’s something you have to do regularly. Totally agree with marxinista that everything should have a place that makes things so much easier! I would say just when you take clothes off, put them in a hamper (I like the multi-compartment ones for sorting) or hang them up, throw trash away immediately, wash dishes after you use them, try to prevent clutter before it even accumulates. Try the flylady method! Omg ALSO I love my robot vacuum running it daily really helps

Vintage women's magazines

I buy these whenever I come across them. One time, I googled the bachelor of the month from a May 1980 issue of Cosmo, just to see what he was up to now. He was a high end art dealer who had since been arrested, locked up for fraud, released, and became a best selling author from writing a book about the experience. The July 1980 bach of the month was Epstein. Every other page is a cigarette ad. All nail polish is red. It's chaos.

I replaced my iPhone with a TCL Flip and I've never been more present. My brain feels like it got a massage. I thought it would be a lot harder to transition but it turns out I have hobbies, I just forgot about them.

Offering to take photos of strangers

If you see people taking a selfie, always offer to take the photo for them. Bring good energy, have a little photoshoot and make sure you take at least 5 pictures. You're basically taking their moment and turning it into a memory that isn't ruined by the front cam. It's also good karma.
