”bye” just feels extreme, as if it’s forever and permanent. I will always prefer something more casual like a “ttyl” or “see ya”. I know I can’t be the only one who sees ”goodbye” and “bye” as endings
I work in the Office of an old school department store in my hometown. It’s extremely wholesome and they have been in this spot in Kansas since 1857!! I dress up as a secretary and use a landline and 9 key calculator. It is amazing.
