my whole life, kind of the most consistent thing i have, is my natural body clock. i like that this time gives me a little space to do yoga before work, and on the weekends i can get out and see the world before it's fully charged and awake. i love mornings. i love breakfast, i love bird sounds, i love coffee, and i tend to feel at my most mentally sharp in the morning. morning person thru and thru

i’ve always been someone who has stayed up late at night, trying to make up for all of the time i lost in the day to school, work, etc. but i’ve been waking up around 7 am for the past couple weeks and … i get it now. i never understood morning people but i’m finally starting to see the appeal. there’s something so beautiful about being awake while everything else is so still :)

i used to fight being an early bird, but it lets me enjoy the sunrise and coffee and a lot of other things i couldn’t if i slept in (and believe me i’ve tried)

i love the feeling of getting up and having a productive morning, even if just that productivity is getting up, getting dressed, and going for a nice lil walk.
my job forcibly turned me into a morning person but i’m enjoying it!
