That’s kind of a gross oversimplification of it honestly, there are obviously good and bad sides to that (as actions tend to have consequences), but think of it this way maybe, you have much more agency and power than you think. Go for it. Just do it.

JUST DO IT

Whatever it is you’re wanting to do, just go for it. Give it your all. Even if it isn’t the best, do the best that you can do in this very moment. Failure means you get to try again with a different approach. Not everyone’s going to get what you do, and that’s okay there will be people who will. Don’t fear standing out or dim your own shine to match others, you’ll never know who you’ll inspire. Never stop learning or being curious, life is about exploration and discovery. And most importantly, it’s never too late to start over, reinvent yourself or chase a dream.

charli Xcx - True Romance Revisited

Every time she begins a new era I have so much fun going back to Charli’s debut. It STILL HITS. Some general thoughts: 1) Nuclear Seasons…summah lovin in the back seat gon! 2) Stay Away - wild that this was one of her early singles. So dark and moody. The way she ennunciates “ech-oh” and “ah-rrrow” 🫨 3) Cloud Aura with Brooke Candy - an iconic early flop, which I think she learned a lot from and rarely missed after this with her features 4) What I Like - my favorite. The “ahhh” vocal fries, she really walked so the girls of the 2020s could run! What moments do ya’ll love? And are you loving von dutch?
